1.1 USER MANUAL SCOPE

This User Manual is considered as the reference document for users of NSR. It is not a technical maintenance or service manual. For technical instructions about the device, please contact the Brain Navi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. customer service or one of its approved representatives. A troubleshooting guide is provided in Clause 4.2.

1.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE

Brain Navi Nasal Swab Robot is intended to guide robot for collecting the sample of secretions through a nasopharyngeal swab from the uppermost part of the throat, behind the nose to be used by healthcare workers. The device is indicated for any collecting sample procedure in which the use of nasopharyngeal swab may be appropriate.

NSR Software is intended as an aid for locating facial and nasal structures in the collecting sample procedure.

1.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS

Medical conditions which contraindicate the use of NSR computer-assisted system and its associated applications include any medical conditions which may contraindicate the collecting sample procedure itself.
